This presentation will also cover using iReport with JasperReports for easy, but powerful, report layouts. As described on its web site,

Those simple statements completely understate how easy JasperReports is use to produce first rate, commercial quality, dynamic reports, data sheets, invoices, and other documents.

During this presentation, we will show you how to use JasperReports in a web application and a standalone Swing application. We'll also see iReport in action to produce pixel-perfect report layouts, from simple tabular reports to much more complex layouts.
